Novell pushes new display technology to greatly improve Linux image quality

Article title: Novell's new display technology significantly improves image quality in Linux. Linux is a technology channel of the IT lab in China. Including desktop applications, Linux system management, kernel research, embedded systems and open-source, and other basic categories of foreign news, the Linux operating system service provider Novell launched a brand new display technology, this will greatly improve the image quality of the Linux platform.

Novell says the software, named Xgl, uses graphics cards to enhance the special effect of images. In addition, the software will increase the display speed of some user interfaces.

Novell said that although this technology is not uncommon on other operating system platforms, Xgl software is an epoch product in the history of open-source operating systems. It is reported that the Xgl software will be integrated into the next Linux Suse Enterprise Edition and will be available in May this year or June.
