The display driver provided by NVIDIA for Linux has been updated from 180.27 to 180.29. NVIDIA 180.29 includes the following changes:

Added GPU support for GeForce 9300 GE and Quadro NVS 420.
Added support for OpenGL 3.0 on the GeForce 8 series and later released GPUs.
Fixed a vulnerability that causes the VDPAU to display a green screen when the Overlay display queue is used in an intertwined state.
Fixed a vulnerability that caused a running error in VDPAU after restarting X server on some GPUs.
Improved VDPAU switching capability, eliminated a crash caused by switching recovery code, and a system stagnation caused by BITs-based display queue.
Fixed a vulnerability that caused VDPAU to crash when using the DisplayPort device.
Fixed a potential problem in VDPAU when using bits-based display queues on multiple GPU systems in non-SLI mode.
The layer data of the VdpVideoMixerRender function of VDPAU is checked for Missing errors.
This improves the processing of multiple GPU settings when VDPAU cannot be supported due to resource restrictions.
Improved the coordination of GPU video memory management between the nvidia x driver and VDPAU.
Fixed a potential problem in overwriting VDPAU during use.
Improved the performance of workstation Open GL.
Fixed an X drive speed error that caused Xid errors in GeForce 6 and 7 Series GPUs.
The X driver is upgraded to support GPUs that are not recognized as "supported" by the driver, so that the driver can drive the previously undriven GPU.
Add and run the pre-installed/post-installed discrete program from "nvidia-installer". For more information, see the "nvidia-installer" manual.
The metamode parser on the X driver is updated. The pattern name can be set by period, for example, ".").
An error on VDPAU is modified. This error causes Overlay display lines in the intertwined state to not be used on the display linked by the video.
Fixed some errors on VDPAU that caused the display to crash when decoding a specific MPEG-2 video.
Modified a crash on a VDPAU, generating invalid MPEG-2 data streams when using a 64-bit driver on some GPUs can cause a crash.
An X Driver Performance issue was modified on the integrated GPU.
A Stability Error is modified. This error occurs in OpenGL applications when FSAA is used.
An initialization error has been modified. This error may cause some AGP GPUs to fail to adjust to the PCI compatibility mode.
Fixed a vulnerability that caused system stability errors after the frequency option was adjusted using the Coolbits interface.
Improved hotkey conversion on some newly released mobile GPUs.
Improved the decline of a Power Management Program and improved compatibility with the new Linux 2.6 core.
NVIDIA 180.29 supports 32-bit and 64-bit platforms and can be downloaded from its FTP site.
