Site Management

Freecms supports site group mode and supports unlimited tree-level management.

The relevant files of the site in the Sites directory, each site has its own folder, the source file directory name is its own folder name.

1. add a first-level site

from the admin menu on the left, click Site Management to enter.

Click "Add Root Site"

enter the relevant properties and click "Save".

If you select a page template that has initialization data, you are prompted to initialize the site with the initialization data for the template, and the recommended option is to do so.

2. Edit Site

Select the site you want to edit, such as "test"

Click "Edit"

enter the relevant properties and click "Save".

3. Add a subordinate site

Select the site to which you want to add a sub-site, such as "test"

Click "Add Subordinate"

after filling in the relevant properties, click "Save".

If you select a page template that has initialization data, you are prompted to initialize the site with the initialization data for the template, and the recommended option is to do so.

4. Transfer Site

for user convenience, FREECMS provides an easy way to change the structure of the site, so that you do not need to remove the rebuild site when you want to make adjustments to the site structure.

Select the site to which you want to change the site, such as "test"

Click "Transfer"

Select the location you want to adjust, such as "freecms" and click directly.

Note :

1) If you select Set as root site, the site becomes the root site.

2) When you change the owning site, the subweb for this site is transferred with this site.

5. Delete a site

The Delete Site feature will delete the specified site and subweb, which is not recoverable and should be operated with caution.

Select the site you want to delete, such as "test"

Click the "delete" button

In order to prevent the user from Misoperation, the system will prompt the user to confirm, click "OK" button to complete the delete operation.

6. Preview Site

Click on the site you want to preview, such as "Freecms"

Click the "Preview" button

7. Site Property Description

Properties	Description
name	Site name
source file directory name	English, for storing site files, such as freecms "Freecms", /site/freecms/ directory storage freecms files used by the site.
Domain name	website domain name, in the site group mode can be set to each site different domain name, enter the domain name can go directly to the designated site.

Static scheduling	There are two ways to support timed generation and interval duplicate generation of pages. timed builds generate static pages at a specified time of day. interval recurrence builds are generated based on a specified interval of time, such as 10 minutes or 2 hours, and a static page is generated every 10 minutes or every 2 hours.
