Oracle------------->pl/sql----------------> Connect Oracle Database

First, the development environment requirements:

• The premise is that the computer must have an Oracle client installed.
• Installed the Pl-sql software

Second, configure PL-SQ and connect Oracle

• Configuration method:
• 1. Locate the installation directory for Oracle. such as: C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\network\ADMIN

• 2. Locate the Tnsnames.ora file.

• 3, open in text mode, add the following content:

  • Local instance name (such as SVTV) =    (DESCRIPTION = (    address = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = remote Database IP address) (port = remote server port number))    (Connect_data =      (SERVER = dedicated)      (service_name = remote Database service name)    )  )

    The Chinese part is the part that needs to be modified, in addition to the first "local instance name", other needs to consult with the remote database administrator, the local instance name is a convenient name to identify the database, can be customized.

• 4. Then open PL/SQL to see the link you created,
• 5, after the above steps, click OK to enter the corresponding Oracle database, Ql-sql developer display the following interface
