2. Start from the Windows desktop → programs → Oracle-<ORACLE_HOME_NAME> → configuration and transpose tools → Database configuration Assistant command, Open the Welcome screen of the Database Configuration Assistant dialog box, click the Next button in the interface

4. To enable the CREATE database option, click the Next button to enter the Step 2: Database Templates interface

6. To enable the general purpose or transaction processing option, click the Next button to enter the "Step 3: Database Identity" interface

8. Set the global database name for the new database in the Step 3: Database Identity interface, which is set to MYORCL, and the database instance name (SID) defaults to the global database name and MYORCL

10. Once the password is set, click the Next button to enter the "Step 6: Storage Options" interface, where the "file system" option is enabled

12. Click the Next button to go to the "Step 7: Database files where" interface. Once you've set up your storage location, click the Next button and go to step 8

14. ¤ Use the default settings, click the "Next" button to enter the "Step 9: Database Content" interface, which can be configured for example scenarios and custom scripts. With the default settings, click the Next button to enter the Step 10: Initialize Parameters interface, which allows you to configure memory, resizing, character set, and connection mode. With the default settings, click the Next button to enter the "Step 11: Security Settings" interface, where the default settings, the "preserve enhanced 11g Default security settings" option are enabled. ¤ Click the "Next" button to go to the "Step 12: Automatic Maintenance Task" screen, in which the "Enable Automatic maintenance task" option is selected.

16. Click the Next button to enter the "Step 13: Database Storage" interface, where you can specify the storage parameters of the database, click the "Next" button to enter the "Step 14: Create Options" interface
