Start Menu--oracle-oraclient10g_home1--Configure and migrate tools--net configuration Assistant

Open the window as follows:

Select Local NET service name configuration

Click Next

Select Add

Click Next

Enter the service name to develop the department's development Server for example: 246 is ORCL, 245 is V7dev, the actual situation is the customer Oracle database Server service name, installation if not modified by default is ORCL

Click Next

Default TCP

Click Next

Enter the hostname: the name or IP address of the computer to be linked, and the IP address of the computer where the Oracle data server is installed.

Select link Port number: Default 1521

Click Next

Select Yes to test

Click Next

Click Change Login

Enter the login user name and password

The general user name is the database name, such as V7hqs

Password is Rezin

Click OK

Click Next

The name of the service you display locally is usually the default or V7hqs or V7dcs, which is configured in the configuration file default of the Headquarters system or distribution system, data source=

Click Next

No: Done, yes: start making a configuration

Click Next
