Database Installation

After Oracle cluster installation, the next is the most important database installation, the entire database installation is not very difficult, the user as an Oracle user login RAC1 master node, the extracted file installation. After the main node installed, all other nodes automatically installed, the principle of the mechanism is the SSH communication mechanism, so the early SSH configuration, the node automatic communication is very important. Log on to the RAC1 master node as an Oracle user to install the extracted files. (only need master node to configure, child nodes through SSH communication, automatic configuration)

./runinstaller

Do not select check box security updates checkbox, next.

Select "Create and configure a database", and next. (Choose to create databases and create data warehouses with official recommendations)

Select Server Class, and the next step. (If Oracle is simply under Linux, not clustered environment can also)

Select all nodes, configure SSH, and next. (SSH is responsible for multi-node communication, which is to configure all child nodes of the master node to sync)

Select "Typical Install" and next. (This normal installation is also common, normal installation and advanced installation)

Enter "/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1" as the path. File Set "/u01/oradata". Set database username, password. The database itself is named "Rac.localdomain". (Address in advance planning, special novice to Linux unfamiliar, many paths difficult to manage)

Wait for installation, middle of problem ignored, next

See the following interface, select Complete.

Wait for installation.

Automatic pop-up Create Data Warehouse DBCA. (This dbca is called the narrow database, which can create table spaces, tables, views, etc.)

Complete the Data Warehouse installation, select OK, continue the installation.

The following prompts are logged in as root under all nodes, and all nodes execute the following two scripts. (This last cluster configuration is introduced, not detailed)

Select close to complete the installation.
