1.6 Oracle Installation Prerequisites
The following actions are logged on to the RacNode1 node with root. If you do not use DNS, you must configure the/etc/hosts file as follows
Note: Even if the scan address is defined in the/etc/hosts file, you still need to define DNS to cycle between 3 addresses in the same subnet as the public IP address. DNS server configuration refer to the DNS configuration of Oracle RAC Database 11gRelease 2 Scan
Edit/etc/sysctl.conf File
Add the following line to the/etc/security/limits.conf file
Add the following configuration to the/etc/pam.d/login file.
Either configure NTP or make sure NTP is not configured so that the Oracle cluster time synchronization service can synchronize the time of the RAC node, where we cancel the NTP configuration. If the NTPD service is installed at all, then do not have to do the following operation.
Create a new group and user
Create Oracle Software Installation directory
Use Oracle Login to add the following configuration in the. Bash_profile (is the Oracle user's home directory) file
Creating/home/oracle/grid_env Files
