In the Oracle GoldenGate 12c, support is available for some of the most recent databases, such as SQL Server 2012/2014, and of course 12c is also supported for SQL Server 2008.
The main new features are:
- The capture process can read the SQL Server compressed local backup log;
- When the third-party log Backup tool restricts the read transaction log, the Ogg capture process still enables data replication;
- Ogg supports data capture without primary key table (in Ogg 11g for tables with no primary key, such as to replicate, there will be some requirements);
- OGG synchronizes data between SQL Server and other heterogeneous databases in real time;
- The OGG capture process can work with SQL Server's own transactional replication and CDC processes;
