The recently released Oracle NoSQL database 3.0 is the latest key value database version of Oracle. It aims to simplify the development of next-generation applications and provide higher security and availability for real-time network-based workloads.
The enhanced features of Oracle NoSQL database 3.0 improve security, usability, and performance to support enterprise development and IT requirements, including:
Enhanced security: an independent operating system, password-based user authentication in a cluster, and Oracle Wallet integration can prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data and improve protection. In addition, session-level SSL encryption and network port restrictions can provide higher protection for network intrusion.
Usability and ease of development: supporting table data models simplifies application design and can be seamlessly integrated into familiar SQL applications. The second index can provide significant enhancements for queries.
Enhanced Data Center performance: automatic failover to the second-level data center improves service continuity for applications. Second, the server area can unload read-only workloads, such as analysis, report generation, and data exchange, to improve workload management.
Oracle NoSQL database 3.0 Enterprise Edition and Oracle NoSQL database 3.0 community edition can now be downloaded from the Oracle technical network, using the relevant terms, conditions and restrictions.
