Oracle ora-12514 Solutions

Originally configured database listening with Plsql login error ORA-12514 the TNS Listener is currently unable to identify the connection Descriptor request Service

Online said change Listener.ora Add the following configuration

Sid_list_listener = = = = ORCL)      = D:\oracle_base\oracle11g\             Product\11.2. 0 \dbhome_1)       = ORCL)    )          = = MONT)       = D:\oracle_base\oracle11g\product\  11.2. 0 \dbhome_1)          = MONT)   ))

It doesn't work when you change it.

The cause of the error is inside Tnsnames.ora

Before modification

MONT =  =    192.169. 6.1521))    =       = dedicated)      =  MONT)   ))

service_name = MONT  to be the same as the actual database Sid
The outside can be casually, distinguish different database
After modification

MONT =  =    192.169.  6.641521))    =      = dedicated)      =  ORCL)    )  )
