Organization Replication features (organization copy) in the EBS Inventory (Inventory) module
(Copyright notice, I original or translated articles for reprint, such as reprinted for Personal learning, please specify the source; otherwise please contact me, the offender must investigate)
If you have a large inventory organization to set up when you implement EBS, you can use the organization's replication capabilities. In organization replication, you can replicate business entities in your organization, such as items (items), bills of materials (Bills ofmaterial), and resources (Resource). And you can customize it in the process of replication. You can copy the parameters, defaults, and settings from the inventory organization in the source organization to many new inventory organizations in one step, and optionally replicate the following business entities as needed:
L Bill of Materials (Bills of material)
L process steps (routings)
L Materials (items)
L Classification (Categories)
L Sub Stock (Subinventories)
L Shipping Network (shipping Networks)
L Inventory Organization parameters (Inventory Parameters)
L WIP parameters (WIP Parameters)
L BOM parameters (Bom Parameters).
An organization is a replication that is divided into two steps to complete.
1. New/maintained interface tables through Invnentory->setup->organizations->organizationcopy->maintain interface.
The INTERFACE table is Mtl_copy_org_interface, which is primarily customized for your new organization, such as specifying the name of the new organization, organizing the Code, organizing the location, and specifying the Groupcode, group code in the interface table is used in the second step to indicate which new organization to copy the organization data to. Multiple new organizations can share the same group Code, so that you can perform replication operations on multiple new organizations at once in the second step.
2. Run request ' copyinventory organization ' to specify the Groupcode in the source organization and interface table to replicate the organization. In this request, you specify the source organization (Modelorganization) and the group Code specified above, and whether to copy the business entities specified above. The details of this request are as follows:
Requesting name (Request): Copy Inventory Organization
Executable name (executable): Inviscor
Execution (Execution method): Java Concurrent Program
Execution file (Execution file name): Copyloader, because it is a Java-type concurrent program, so this is a Java class name.
The path to execute the file (Execution file path): ORACLE.APPS.INV.SETUP.CP, because it is a Java-type concurrent program, so this is a Java package name.
, because it is a Java-type concurrent program, the Copyloader class implements the Runprogram in the interface Oracle.apps.fnd.cp.request.JavaConcurrentProgram () Method.
The focus of this feature:
1. Request:copy inventoryorganization
2. Interface table: Mtl_copy_org_interface
3. Background program: Oracle.apps.inv.setup.cp.CopyLoader.
