If you are using an Outlook client to send and receive messages, follow these processes to set up (take Outlook2007 as an example):
Step one: Add a new e-mail account
Click on the "Tools" menu, select "Account Settings", the Account Settings page as shown in the following image, click "New" in the Account Settings page to add a new e-mail account:
Select the e-mail server type on the first page of Add new e-mail account: Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP (default option), click Next:
According to the page prompts to fill in the name, email address, password information complete, and then check the lower left corner of the page "Manually configure server settings or other server type" option, and click "Next" button:
Step Two: Internet E-mail settings
Select e-Mail Service type: Select Internet e-mail option and click Next button:
On the Internet e-mail Settings page, fill in the appropriate information, and then click the "Other Settings" button in the lower-right corner of the page:
User information: Fill in your name and email address
Server information: Account type: POP3
Incoming mail server: pop.exmail.sina.com
Send mail server: smtp.exmail.sina.com
Login information: User name: Please fill in the full email address
Password: Please fill in the email password corresponding to your username
Select the Send mail server option on the Internet e-mail Settings page, check my send server (SMTP) requirements verification, and click OK.
Click the "Finish" button to save your settings.
