With the advent of the Windows RT 8.1 Preview, the Outlook 2013 RT preview has also been exposed. According to the user, the Outlook 2013 RT preview has the same interface as normal Outlook 2013, but Outlook RT 2013 does have some business-related features in Outlook 2013.
Outlook 2013 RT
The Outlook 2013 RT version of the interface is more appropriate for touch operations. In addition to the interface section, the software is optimized for the RT mobile platform, primarily in terms of battery endurance and performance optimization under the ARM architecture.
However, because of the special requirements of the tablet for security and mobility, Office RT 2013 will not be able to support a subset of the features:
1. No online archive/personal archive mailbox and site Mailbox
2. No Messaging records Management (MRM) Retention policy
3, no data loss protection strategy tips
4, no longer support the information management rights of new messages
5. Cannot run macros, Plug-ins, or custom programs
6. No consolidated Lync and SharePoint Services
7, does not support the fax account
8. No Group Policy support
It is reported that the final stable version of Outlook 2013 RT will be launched with Windows 8.1 later this year. Outlook 2013 RT is automatically obtained when the user upgrades to Windows RT 8.1.
