Outlook Express clicks the address in the message does not respond

When Outlook Express looks at a message, it sometimes has an address in it, but a click doesn't respond.

This failure may be caused by the following two reasons.

1.Outlook Express does not have a default program set. Under Control Panel, double-click Internet Options, open Internet Options, switch to the Programs tab, and confirm the option in e-mail for Outlook Express.

2. Check if there is a problem with the Mailto file association. Open My Computer, select tools → folder Options, open Folder Options, switch to the File Types tab, and select the Url:mailto protocol option in registered file types. Click Advanced to open Edit file type, click the Edit button, and open the dialog box to confirm that the C:Program Filesoutlook Expressmsimn.exe/mailurl:%1 is entered in the application for performing the action.
