Parallels Desktop Fusion Mode Introduction

Fusion (Coherence) is a viewing mode that allows you to run Windows applications as if they were native applications on your MAC.

Note: The Parallels Desktop virtual machine starts in converged (Coherence) view mode on the first boot.

In converged (Coherence) mode, you can use both Windows and MAC applications without having to manage two separate desktops or reboots. You can even download Windows apps directly from the Mac Dock or Mac desktop. In this mode, all parallels Desktop controls, icons, and menus are hidden (in addition to the parallels icon in the Mac menu bar and the Windows application folder in the Dock).

Hides the Windows taskbar, the Start button, and the desktop.
