Now a lot of people like to use PDF document, but how to encrypt it, protect the file security? Today, I recommend you use Adobe Acrobat software, encryption!
The specific encryption method is as follows:
1, open an arbitrary PDF document;
2, select the "Document" menu bar;
3, select "Document" in the "Security" column;
4, and then select "Security" in the "Display the security settings for this document" column
5, this entered the "Document Properties" dialog box, with the mouse click "Security Method", will appear a Drop-down menu, and then choose "Password Security";
6, to enter the password Security-Settings dialog box, so that there are two to choose from:
A: "Require open document password." If you click inside a small box with your mouse, this will hook it up, then you enter your password-confirm, so that when someone clicks on the file, it will pop up the "Please Enter Password" dialog box, if the person who does not know the password is completely invisible inside the content.
B: "Use a password to limit the printing and editing of the document and its security settings", if you click in a small box with the mouse, it will hook up, and then you enter your password-confirm. This will give you the current PDF file encryption, when someone opens your file, you can see its contents, but others can not modify, print and so on
Set the password for the PDF (this is an official description that you can try to manipulate.) )
You can restrict access to PDFs by setting passwords and prohibiting certain features, such as printing and editing.
The PDF contains two types of passwords: Document open password and license password. When you set the document open password (also known as the "user" password), the user must type the password you specified to open the PDF. When you set a license password (also known as the master password), the recipient opens the document without a password, but it must type a license password to set or change the restricted functionality. If the PDF is protected by both passwords, it can be opened with either password, but you must use a license password to change the restricted functionality. For higher security, it is better to set two passwords at the same time.
All Adobe products enforce the restrictions set by the license password. However, because these settings may not be supported or ignored by Third-party products, the document recipient may bypass some or all of the restrictions you have set.
Important NOTE: If you forget your password, you will not be able to recover the password from the document. Consider keeping a backup of a PDF that is not password protected.
Do any of the following:
Click the Security button on the Tasks toolbar, and then select Remove security Settings. Type your password, and then click Yes in the prompt about removing security.
In the Security tab of the Document Properties dialog box, select No security settings from the Security methods menu.
If prompted, enter a license password, and then click OK.
