First, Introduction:

Pentaho BI Server is divided into two versions of enterprise and Community editions. Where the Community edition CE (community edtion) is the free version.

Second, download the CE version (CentOS):

Background Download command:

Nohup wget-b-c-q HTTP://JAIST.DL.SOURCEFORGE.NET/PROJECT/PENTAHO/BUSINESS%20INTELLIGENCE%20SERVER/6.1/ Biserver-ce-6.1.0.1-196.zip &

Third, installation

Unzip biserver-ce-6.1.0.1-196.zip-d/opt/ptools/, automatically generate Biserver-ce folder

Four, start

Tomcat default port number: 8080

Hsqldb Default port number: 9001

Go to the Biserver-ce folder and execute

./start-pentaho.sh & >> 1.log & background Start-up service

Five, home

Http://IP:8080/pentaho

Default User name password: Admin/password
