1. Create a new dashboard

After logging on to pentaho, click File-> New-> new dashboard to create a new dashboard.

The new dashboard is shown in the following figure: layout structure, component panel, and dashboard panel.

3. Layout Structure

Layout structure is used to manage the layout of the entire dashboard. Generally, a dashboard is composed of tables, which are divided into row and column. You can click an element to edit its attributes.

4. Components panel

This is the control panel for various controls. You can create various CDF controls and set their attributes here.

5. datasource panel

This is used to create a query statement.

After the creation is complete, click the Save button above to bring up the menu for you to select the location and name. (Note that the solutionpath value in your pentaho configuration file web. xml must be configured. We recommend that you do not have Chinese characters. This means that you place pentaho files in English folders .) Right-click the created dashboard and select Edit to enter the editing status.
