Perforce client-P4 common usage

P4 edit (P4 edit <directory> /...) A large directory contains a large file, which can be modified (or added or deleted). How can I submit the file?

1. Go to the edit directory and find.-Type F | xargs P4 add -- to add the new file to the repository. The added file that has been edited will fail, so no hurt

2. You can use P4 diff-sa <edit root directory>/... to view the deleted files. Of course, this also contains the modified file after the edit, so check it. Delete deleted files with P4 Delete.

3. P4 revert-A <edit root directory>/.... In this way, you can remove the files that have been edited but not modified.

4. P4 opened, and then compare P4 diff-sa <edit root directory>/.... The deleted files must be consistent with the modified file list. In P4 opened, you should add more files. You can use P4 opened | grep add to get the list of new files. You can use P4 opened | grep Edit to get the list of modified files.

5. P4 submit.
