The test is performed on a ThinkPad T60. The main hardware information is: Intel T2300 processor (1.83 GHz), 1 GB DDR2 memory, 80 gb sata hdd hard drive, ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 128MB graphics card, the driving catalyst is 8.3.
Main software of Ubuntu 8.04 includes: Linux kernel 2.6.24, GCC 4.2.3, GNOME 2.22, and X. Org Server 1.4.1. The main software of Ubuntu 7.10 is Linux kernel 2.6.22, GCC 4.1.3, GNOME 2.20, and X. Org 7.2.
