(1) Use of the regular marquee tool:

Rule Marquee Tool, Marguee, shortcut key is M.

Includes rectangle marquee Tool, ellipse Marquee tool, single line and single column marquee tool.

For the elliptical marquee tool, when you select it, press and hold the SHIFT key to get a rounded selection.

The single-line and single-column marquee tool can create a selection in a picture that is taller than one pixel or a pixel wide.

The parameter setting of the Rule Marquee tool;

The selection method bar has four buttons to create a selection. The parameter setting of the feather option makes the selected edges soft and produces an effect of edge transitions.

Click the Adjust Edge button to open the dialog box:

Adjusting the edges will not only make the edges more natural, but also can be used to snap images.

Rule selection Box Application example: Create a hazy mood:

1. After opening the image file footage, select the Rectangle selection tool, adjust the parameter settings, change the feather to 50 pixels, and adjust the style to a fixed size:

3. Select the Ellipse Marquee tool in the toolbox, leave the feather value intact, tick the anti-aliasing check box, and set the style to a fixed scale, using a fixed aspect ratio. The Ellipse tool can set the antialiasing effect. In Photoshop, images are made up of pixels, which are actually a series of square blocks of color, so when editing an arc image, the edges of the image may produce a rectangular sawtooth. Tick the anti-aliasing check box to add intermediate tones between the jagged edges to visually eliminate aliasing:

4. Change the selection shape by adding or subtracting selections from the options bar, creating a sunken effect as follows:

5. Press the Ctrl+shift+i key to invert the selection:

7. Fill the selection with a white background to get a dim border effect:

8. Press Ctrl+d to cancel the selection and get the final dim effect:

(2) Use of lasso tool:

* Lasso tool is a range selection tool. With the Lasso tool, you can create irregular selections and select arbitrary irregular objects.

The Lasso tool in Photoshop includes the Lasso tool, the Polygon lasso tool, and the magnetic lasso tool:

When you draw a marquee using the Lasso tool, you can press ESC to cancel if you need to deselect the marquee, and Photoshop automatically closes the selection if you release the left mouse button and the mouse pointer does not return to the beginning of the selection.

* Use the Polygon lasso tool to draw polygon selections of various shapes.

You cannot get a curve selection using the Polygon tool. To get a curved selection, only by increasing the turning point method. When you draw a selection, if you double-click to end the drawing of the selection, Photoshop connects the starting point and the double-click Point with a straight line. Also, when you create a selection, pressing the DELETE key deletes the most recently drawn selection segment.

* The magnetic lasso tool is the most important sizzle function key selection tool in Photoshop, which can be selected according to the color differences in the image, which makes it easy and quick to select the objects that need to be selected:

When using the magnetic marquee, click to get more strokes to make the selection more accurate.

Lasso Tool Application Example: Travel agency advertising

1. Introduction to the examples;

In the instance, first use the magnetic lasso tool to get the aircraft object, and then copy the selected objects into the footage picture. Use the Transform tool to resize and position objects, and use the Hue/Saturation dialog box and the Gaussian Blur filter to create a shadow effect that the airplane flies over.

2. In the Toolbox, select the Horizontal Type tool to create the ad text on the image:

5. Press CTRL + C to copy the selected aircraft image. Copy it to the green leaf layer. Now Photoshop automatically places the object in a new layer. Press the CTRL+T key and the plane will be surrounded by a transform box with control Bing. By dragging the handle to adjust the size of the plane, rotate the plane and adjust the direction of the plane, and then double click the left mouse button in the Transform box to confirm the adjustment: (in addition, in the window selected by the magnetic selection tool, press CTRL + "J" key to create a new background transparent layer in the current document window and place the selected object in ）

6. In the Layer palette, drag the plane's layer onto the Create new Layer button below the palette, copy an airplane, and select the Move tool in the toolbox to move the two planes and adjust their position.
