The cutting tool of Photoshop is just like our paper cutter, we can trim our image to make the image file size change. The shortcut key for this tool is the letter C.

Width, Height: can enter fixed values, directly complete the image cutting.
Resolution: The input value determines the resolution of the image after trimming, and the unit at which the resolution is selected.
Previous image: Click to bring up the cutting dimensions of the previous image.
Clear: Clears the existing trim dimensions for re-entry.

1. Right click on the original image to save to the local computer
2. Open this picture in Photoshop. (File/Open)

Example II (analysis of how to compose):
This is a hastily taken picture of the harbour. Unfortunately there is no visual center in the horizontal direction, many high light and trivial elements make the picture messy, we can not see the important or interesting points.
We cut the picture vertically, with the aim of concentrating the visual center on a ship with a high mast, and the background is the light of a distant city, with a close shot and a distant vision.
