Photoshop Draw a folder icon simple tutorial

The Photoshop mouse painting tutorial will show you how to make a nice folder icon with features such as pen tools and layer styles in Photoshop.

Effect Chart:

1, first create a new document in Photoshop, the size of 512px*512px, the background is transparent, as shown in the figure.

2. Select View-Show-grid in the menu bar and select View-Ruler, which allows us to use the pen tool more precisely as shown in the figure.

3, select the Pen tool, select "Shape Layer" in the property bar, and then make the shape shown in the following figure

4, add layer style effect, select Layer-layer style-bevel relief, set depth to 10%. Then set the gradient overlay, the gradient color is #a0c0d9 to #8cb2ce, style: linear, check "reverse", as shown in the figure
