Photoshop CS6 compelling usage experience

A new design interface

Photoshop CS6 uses a completely redesigned dark interface, which is said to bring a "more compelling use experience." Tabbed management windows like CS5 still remain, but when you want to view multiple open files at the same time, their default tags often make you feel frustrated. In addition, the threshold for new users to learn about Photoshop CS6 is still high, but it should not be a problem for professionals.

Another noteworthy improvement is the new drag-and-drop inline toolbar. Photoshop's Window Management and toolbar management have never been its forte, and many toolbars have been removed from the version replacement process. Similarly, the editing toolbar on the side of the main Photoshop window is more refreshing than ever, and the blue border indicates that it is ready for editing.

New Layer Search feature

The new Mini Bridge feature allows file browsing tools to be integrated directly into the CS6. Keep the Mini Bridge Media Manager open so that you can easily and intuitively browse and use the pictures and videos stored on your computer. This is a good addition to the common file opening function, which can effectively reduce the file open operation.

You can now use the new Layer search tool to search and sort the layers with colors, names, patterns, and properties. This is undoubtedly a very useful new feature for Photoshop projects with many layers. CS6 also displays the adjustable tool on the right side of the window, allowing you to quickly access the "curve", "Color balance", "saturation" and a series of lossless adjustment tools.

Photoshop CS6 changed the precedent by adding an arrow cursor to a tool such as "crop" and "lasso". Previously need to use the bottom of the lasso to complete the selection operation, now with the arrow cursor operation is not as difficult as before, but you have to get used to two different icons moving at the same time. Content-Aware mobility

"Content-aware movement" is a new tool in the CS6, which is able to fill the original position of an object when the user moves the object selected in the picture as a whole. For example, select the boat on the lake first with the selection tool, click on the Content-aware move tool, and drag the boat onto the other side of the lake. As you drag the boat, the software automatically fills in the vacated area based on the surrounding environment.

After testing, it was found that content-aware mobility was not as useful. It always needs to be adjusted repeatedly, even more so in the case of a more complex picture background.

Video editing

CS6 provides a basic video editing function for photographers, which can save you a lot of money. The point is that after you import the video, you can use the familiar Photoshop tools and shortcuts to do it, such as color, exposure adjustment, and other actions you expect. You can even add borders, textures, filters, and audio to your video.

After the video editing is complete, you can output it as an option. Although no Premier, Final cut, even iMovie, but for the new video editor, the use of the hand is very good.
