The author's method of making a reflection is very good. Process: First to pull out the product, and every face also dug out, are put into a group, and then the group is flipped vertically, properly deformed to the bottom of the original product picture, and then with the deformation tool to adjust each surface, with the original picture of each face, later with the filter, add a little blur effect and noise, and then modify the blending mode, Use a mask to make a transition.

Final effect

1, we choose a most basic product packaging box, you can see it and the background of the white interface closely.

2, press W or click on the tool bar on the left of the Magic Wand Tool Select Quick Selection Tool.

Click and drag on the white background to make a rough selection of the white background of the picture. Use the Add selection on the upper left or subtract the selection tool to handle the edges of the box and background to make the box's selection edges clear and accurate. Click the Adjust Edge button in the top toolbar and make the following settings.

These settings will adjust the selections, and you can set them according to your pictures to see what happens when they change.

3. Right-click the canvas and select > select Reverse. Then press CTRL + C copy and Ctrl + V paste to paste the selection into a new layer.

For the following steps, we hide the original layer.

We need to split each side of the box into a separate layer. Press L or click the Lasso tool on the left toolbar to select the Polygon Lasso tool.

Select the front of the box, press CTRL + X cut, CTRL + SHIFT + V to paste, then the front of the box is still in its original position, but it is in a new layer. Right-click the layer on the layers panel, convert it to a smart object, and then hide it. Repeat this process to cut the sides and upper faces to new layers to make sure they are converted to smart objects.

If there are still gaps in each side of the box, move the layer slightly to close the gap. The interval between the images in the image below indicates that the three faces are in a separate new layer.

4, create a new layer group and named "Reflection." Move the layers of the 3 individual smart objects to this layer group. Select the layer group, and then press CTRL + T to enter free transform mode. Right-click the canvas and select flip Vertically.

Display the original layer, drag the layer group to the bottom corner of the box to coincide with the lower corner of the original layer box, and press ENTER. As pictured.

5, select the side of the layer panel, press CTRL + T into the free transform mode, and then right-click the canvas and choose distort.

Click and drag the center point on the left edge of the shape box (figure: red) to overlap the top edge of the side with the edge of the original picture, and then press ENTER.

6, to the front layer for example, the operation of step 4. If the closure is not tight, you can fine-tune the entire layer of the smart object to align the edges of the image.

For the upper face, because it is not visible in the reflection, we no longer deal with it, you can also choose to delete it.

7, select all the layers in the "reflection" group, right click in the layers panel and convert it into a smart object, at which point two synthesized a layer.

Click Filter > Blur > Motion blur, Set distance: 5, Angle: 0.

8. Click Filter > Noise > Add Noise. Set Quantity to 3%, select Gaussian distribution, select Monochrome.

9. Add a layer mask to the "reflection" group. Press G or click on the Paint Bucket tool on the left side to select the gradient tool. Make sure the gradient is set from white to black, and then pull the gradient on the canvas to form a reflection effect. As pictured.

10. Change the layer blending mode of the group to multiply the bottom and the opacity to 35%. Select the Smart object layer in the group and nudge it up until there is no gap between the box and the reflection.

11, finally, we need to mask our reflection, so it does not overlap our original image. It's almost imperceptible, but it should be done.

Select the > Quick Selection Tool on the original layer, select the background white, right-click, select > select Reverse.

Then, select the Smart object layer in the Reflection Group and click on the Add layer mask at the bottom of the panel.

You can now see a layer mask created for just the box selection. Finally, press CTRL +i invert the layer mask, the shape of the box outside the original image will be visible, and any overlapping original boxes will be invisible.
