Photoshop makes infrared photo photography effect

Infrared photography captures infrared ray imaging beyond visible light. Infrared is located between the visible and the short wave, this kind of photograph is very unique and beautiful. This article will show you how to make a photo with infrared photography in Photoshop.

What is infrared photography?

Here are 3 ways to take infrared photos. The first is to convert the camera into an infrared camera. This is more expensive and once modified, you can't take any more normal pictures. Don't do this unless you plan to take an infrared photograph later.

The second method is to use a film camera with special infrared film photography. This film is also expensive and requires special treatment, but it does not affect the camera.

Finally, most digital cameras are more or less able to feel infrared, so you can buy infrared filters to use. It can filter out all visible light and only allow infrared rays to pass through. This filter reduces the luminous flux, so the exposure time needs to be prolonged during filming.

Open the photo you want to work with in Photoshop. I am using CS5 and you can use any version of CS2 above.

First copy the layer, "layer"-"new"-"Layer by copy", or use the shortcut key CTRL + J.

Then use the shortcut key CTRL + I to reverse the photo.

Step 2-Color

Change the layer's blending mode to "color." The photos should be orange and blue when you finish the operation.
