There is a useful and interesting feature in Photoshop--making a comprehensive thumbnail of multiple pictures. It can create a thumbnail for all picture files in the specified folder.
and stored in an image file for easy retrieval and lookup.
Now let's use a concrete example to explain how this function is used.
There are 15 images in this folder as shown in the following illustration, and now we're going to make a thumbnail diagram of them.

Using the method is very simple, click the Photoshop menu "File > Auto > Contact List II", the English menu is "File-automate-contact Sheet".

The Setup Panel is shown below, where we'll complete all the parameter settings for the thumbnail chart.

SOURCE Image: This section is responsible for setting the source image location, click "Browse" to select the folder location where you want the thumbnail to be generated, and then select whether to "include all subfolders."
Documents: This section is responsible for setting some of the parameters of the flattened picture, including dimensions, resolution, and whether to "flatten all layers", and so on.
Thumbnail: Here we can set the rules for how to create a thumbnail graph, such as horizontal or first portrait, number of rows and columns, rotation, and so on.
At the bottom of the interface, you can set whether to use a file name as a picture callout, or to set the font and size.
The right side of the interface will be based on the setting of real-time preview layout effect, at a glance.
As shown above, click on the "OK" button in the upper-right corner of the interface, Photoshop will automatically start working, and finally get the following thumbnail image flattening.

We can change some settings. As shown below, we cancel "flatten all layers" and "Use file masterpiece Captions".

After clicking OK, we get the flattening diagram below.
In the screen, the file name text is canceled, and we can see in the layers panel that Photoshop assigns a layer to each picture for easy adjustment.
