In this tutorial, we will create a light work from scratch using the shapes and blending tools in illustrator. Then in Photoshop, we'll add the lighting effects and the pattern overlay. Original from: abduzeedo.com

Step 1
We'll start creating images in Adobe Illustrator. We can do it in Adobe Photoshop, but I want to use a graphics tool that works for this type of work, and if I have a vector, I'll use Illustrator, which is more convenient and quick. Select the Star tool in the illustrator and create a star.

Use the line segment tool (\) to create 2 lines that start at the bottom of the star's corners. Refer to the image below.

Step 3
Select the Blending tool (W), click on one of the lines and click another. Apply a blending effect to the line. Now double-click the Blend tool icon to open the blending options. Change the spacing to 10.

Step 4
Copy the entire Blend object and move it to the other side of the star.

Just flip horizontally and get to the other side.

Step 6
Keep repeating until all the edges of the star are covered.

Step 7
Now you can add some color to the line. I used red, yellow, green, blue-green and purple.

Step 8
Open Photoshop to create a new document. I used a 1920x1200 pixel. Then fill the background layer with dark gray.

Copy each of the blended objects from the illustrator and paste them into Photoshop, and you will have 5 layers. The important thing now is to build them up. Use lasso Tools (L) and masks (Layers > Layer masks > Hidden selections) to hide part of a line so that they don't cross each other. This green line is above the blue and yellow lines. Refer to the image below.

Step 10
Select all line layers, go to layers > merge layers. Duplicate layer. Then go to filter > Blur > Gaussian blur. Use a 10-pixel radius.

Select the duplicate layer again to filter > Blur > Gaussian blur. Use a 2-pixel radius.

Go to layers > Layer styles > Color overlay. Colors use white. Then combine the layers and change the blending mode to color dodge.

This is the result of the steps you have done. To see where the layer is placed, this is important for the effect of the line.

Add a group folder to the layers panel to change the blending mode of the group to color Dodge. Then add a layer within the group. Using the Brush tool (B), select White and draw some light points on the Green line with a soft brush.

Let's use a pair of images to add another lighting effect. I use a http://www.williams.edu/Astronomy/IAU_eclipses/eclipse_results.html that can be downloaded for free. Place the image and change its blending mode to color filter. Then use the Eraser tool (E) to erase most of the images leaving only the lightest effect in the file. After that, go to image > Adjust > Hue and Saturation. Move the hue until you get a little green.

Step 16
Using the Brush tool (B), with a very soft brush, change the opacity to 20%, starting with green and smearing on the Green Line. Add another layer, select cyan, and smear on the cyan line. Analogy This is done to enhance the effect of light. This layer is below the line layer.

Add another layer, this time the topmost layer is described by the previous steps, and the following is the line layer. Go to filter > Render > Cloud. Make sure your front view is white and the background color is black. The blending mode changes to overlay, and then uses the Eraser tool (E) to erase portions of the layer so that the clouds do not rule.

Now, let's create a pattern. Download free seamless metal hole vector pattern (http://www.bittbox.com/freebies/free-seamless-vector-perforated-metal-pa ...) ), open it in Photoshop. Enter edit > Definition pattern. Back to our design, add a new layer on top of all layers, fill it with any color, go to layer > layer style. First to the blending option, change the fill opacity to 0. Then go to the pattern overlay. Select the pattern we just created and zoom down by 50%.

Step 19
Go to layers > Layer styles > Create layers. You'll break down the layer's style, so you'll need a layer to apply the pattern. Remove other layers and pattern layers, change the blending mode to multiply, then Edit > Transform > Distort, create fisheye, then move the controller to reduce the middle bend size. Refer to the image below. After this, the change opacity is 20%.
