When you see a beautiful color picture, whether you regret the photo shoot why do not have this excellent effect. The match Color command in Potoshop provides a quick fix for this regret. It can make the color of your photos as beautiful as the image tones you see. This section describes in detail how to match the color of one photo with the color of another. As shown in Figure 1-263, compare the effects before and after the adjustment.

Learn about matching color commands: Matching color commands can match the color of one image (the source image) to the color of another image (the target image). If you want to match the colors in different photos, it's better to use a matching color command.
Open any picture, perform the image → adjust → match color command, and open the Match Color dialog box, as shown in Figure 1-265.

In the Matching Color dialog box, you can also directly adjust the brightness, color intensity, and fade effects of the target image. As shown in Figure 1-266.

Production steps
(1) Run Photoshop, execute file → open command, open this book with CD-ROM Chapter-01 photo 14.jpg and seaside sunset. jpg file, as shown in Figure 1-267.

(2) Activate the character 14.jpg document, perform image → adjust → match color command, open Match Color dialog box, set up dialog box in reference to Figure 1-268, match color for photo image, the effect is shown in Figure 1-269.

(3) New Layer 1, using the rectangular marquee tool, draw the selection at the top and bottom of the document and fill it with white, then press the key to cancel the selection, as shown in Figure 1-270.

(4) Drag layer 1 to the bottom of the palette to create a new Layer button, Get Layer 1 copy layer, press the key at the same time click on the Layer 1 replica layer thumbnail, the layer of the image of the selection load, and fill in black, and then cancel the selection.
(5) Click the Add Layer Mask button at the bottom of the Layer palette to add a mask for the Layer 1 copy layer. Then use the rectangular marquee tool, draw the selection at the top and fill it with black, then move the selection to the right, fill it black, and use the same action to make the border effect as shown in Figure 1-271.

Tip: Use the pen tool to draw a rectangular path, then press and key to copy the path to paste, and execute the Free Transform path command, press the key to move the copy path horizontally, and then press the key, equidistant copy path.
