PowerPoint slides How to use a rehearsal timing show
1. Open the presentation and click the Rehearse Timings button in the settings group on the Slide Show tab of the Ribbon, as shown in Figure 1.

2, the slide will be played, a "recording" floating toolbar will show the current show time and the total show time when playing. When you switch to a new slide, the Recording floating toolbar will start timing again, and the total show time will continue to be timed, depending on the projected operation. Clicking the Next button in the Record floating toolbar will enable you to switch to the next slide, as shown in Figure 2. If you need to pause the timings, you can click the Pause button in the toolbar, and PowerPoint will give you a prompt dialog box, and clicking the Continue Recording button will allow you to continue recording the slide playback as shown in Figure 3.

PowerPoint gives a prompt dialog box that prompts you to save the rehearsal time, and click Yes to save the rehearsal time as shown in Figure 4. When you switch to slide sorter view, the time it takes to play the slide in the lower right of each slide is shown in Figure 5.

In the Set Up Show dialog box, in the Slice by column, select "If there is a rehearsal time, then use the radio button, and if you also select the speaker Show (full screen) radio button in the show type bar, you can use manual control of the slide show when the slide show is available, and timings can work.
4. Select a slide in slide sorter view and open the Toggle tab in the Ribbon. In the timing group, select the Set Auto swap check box, and then enter a time value in the spinner that follows to change the slide rehearsal timings to the current input values, as shown in Figure 6.

Attention
In addition to the timing of timings to determine the transition time of a slide, if the user knows each slide's switching time or has a clear requirement for each slide's show time, you can set the time value for the "Set auto Swap Time" directly by following the method here. If all slides have the same playback time, you can apply this setting to all slides by clicking the Apply All button on the timing group of the Toggle tab after you set the time value for a slide.
