First open the courseware that you want to insert in the PPT slide and determine where to insert the PPT slide. (Take PowerPoint 2003 for example) and then click the insert → slide (from file) command to pop up the Slide Finder dialog box, as shown in the figure, select the search for presentation item, click the Browse button to navigate to the courseware where the PPT slide is located.
How to determine which ppt slides to copy, there are two ways to make a horizontal and vertical preview available for you to choose from: Landscape Preview is intuitive, you can drag the left and right scroll bar to preview the contents of the slide; the portrait preview is to split the slides into two columns so that you can easily select some slides in the left column. You can also view its contents in the right column. Here are a few ways to select a PPT slide:
1. Select a slide: You can click to select, click again to deselect.
2. Select several discontinuous slides: Press the CTRL key and click the slides you want.
3. If you want all the slides selected, click the Insert All button.
When you finish selecting your slides, click the Insert button to copy the slides to the new PPT slide in order.
Edit tip: In PowerPoint 2000, the format for inserting slides is automatically set to match the format of the previous slide, while in PowerPoint xp/2003 you can keep the formatting of the original slide by selecting the Keep Source formatting item in the Slide Finder panel.
When the operation is complete, click the Close button to exit.
