As we all know, Photoshop in the work of the use of a very wide range, whether it is image processing, web design or picture design, can easily handle, here small set to introduce some slightly "partial door" Photoshop tips, including layers of synthesis and other operations, can help us quickly complete some operations.

Determine if the layer is empty

Do design often produce a lot of layers, if not to the layer grouping, naming, timely finishing, in the face of mountains of layers want to delete those blank layer, how to do?

Here's a tip to determine if a layer doesn't have content pixels: Hold down the CTRL key and click the layer thumbnail, and if you see a "warning: no pixels are selected," the layer is empty.

If you want to delete the empty layer directly, select menu "File > Script > Delete all empty layers."

  Quickly create a middle-gray layer

Sometimes we need to create a solid color layer to add some effects, such as using a lens flare or a noise filter to create impurity effects, non-destructive deepening or dodge operations, or any effect that requires a black, white, and gray solid color layer.

Usually we can create layers, adjust the blending mode of such layers to "mixed" to remove the underlying color display, leaving only the layer effect. Operation Step Path: Create Layer-fill color-add effect-Modify blending mode.

You can also do this by holding down the ALT key and clicking on the new Layer button at the bottom of the layers panel, selecting the blending mode in the Drop-down menu, and checking the box below (creating a 50% grayscale layer), you can easily create a new layer of gray.

Create a new layer below the current layer

Typically, new layers appear above the current layer when we create a new layer. What do you do if you want to create layers underneath the current layer? The method is simple: Hold down the CTRL key and click the new Layer button underneath the Layers panel.

Backing up layers directly in a document

There are many ways to copy a layer, for example, you can drag a layer over the letter layer button to implement it, or press CTRL + J. But how do you move them while backing up layers? When you drag a layer, you can back up the layer to the desired layer order position by pressing the ALT key.

Layer Quick Merge/layer saved as file

In Photoshop, what do we do if we want to combine all the layers, or save different layers as different files? Photoshop can actually do the job automatically.

To combine all layers, select menu "file-script-load file", select files, click OK, and they will be loaded onto a layer.

To save different layers as different files, select menu "file-script-export layer to file", or select Menu "file-script-image processing" to make adjustments to more options.

The above is a small collection of truth on the PS layer of some of the use of small tips, although a bit of a partial door, but very convenient and practical, we may wish to try. Small knitting will Chicken blood for you to introduce other PS tips.
