What is an "interactive Python interpreter"?

When you see the ">>>" symbol, it means you go into the interactive Python interpreter, also known as a "prompt."

Note: Python is different from other computer languages, each line ends with a semicolon, and a line of Python is one line, no matter how much.

What happens in Python if you add a semicolon at the end of each line? Adding semicolons does not affect the program, but it does not have any effect.
