Pip is a Python package management tool that is primarily used to install packages on PyPI and can replace the Easy_install tool.

1 pip installation /pip Install

Pip Installing the Software :

Pip Install <sw_name>

pip installs a specific version of the software :

Pip Install (-V) <sw_name>==<version_number>

pip installs the specified package ( downloaded ):

CD <dir_name>  <sw_name> (TAR.GZ/WHL)  

2 pip Upgrade /pip Upgrade

Pip Upgrade :

Pip Install-u pip

3 pip Search /pip Search

Pip search for a specified package : 

Pip Search <sw_name>
