QC ALM 11 Creating domains, projects, and users

Once Hp-alm is installed, we can only continue to create domains, projects and user-used ALM work. Here are the steps to create the project, domain, and user.

First, create a domain

1, for creating a domain, the first step is to enter the site administrator page. Carry out QC use url-http://localhost:8080/qcbin/siteadmin.jsp. and enter the QC administrator credentials that are set in the installation as shown in:

2, login to the Site Management page, we will see the website Project landing tag, as shown, the next step is to create a domain.

3 . Click the ' Create domain ' button in the top left corner, then enter the domain name and click OK, as shown in:

      

4. The domain will be created successfully, as shown in:

Ii. Creation of the project

Once the domain is created, the next step is to create the project. Creating a project requires that we pass a wizard, and we should follow the steps below to create "Projects".

1. Select the domain item you want to create, and then click the Create Project button, as shown in:

2 . The Create Project Wizard opens. Select Create an empty project, and then click Next, as shown in:

3 . Enter the project name, select the domain, and then click Next, as shown in:

4. Enter the database credentials and click Next, as shown in:

5 . Select the project administrator's user ID and click "Next" as shown in:

6 . Select the Activate check box to enable versioning, if you want to use and click "Create" as shown in:

7 . When clicking "Create", the project "XXXX" was created successfully. Click "OK" to see the project created in the Project pane, as shown in:

Third, create the user

1 . Select the Site Users tab, as shown in, click on the "New user" button as shown in:

2 . The new user window opens. Fill in the User details and click OK, as shown in:

3 . After creating the user, give the user the project access they need, as shown in:

4 . To enable users to access the project, verify the list of users on the Project Users tab, as shown in:
