Uninstall Windows 7 on Ubuntu and Windows. The installation process is as follows:
The r400 a73 bought last year has been using the original win7 family edition. At the beginning, it was very fast. As time went by, it was slow and many software products were not compatible. The most important thing was that they were difficult to meet professional requirements. For example, some development tools could not be well installed, most computer books are based on XP. So I decided to uninstall win7 (the home version of win7 can be directly upgraded to the flagship version, the specific operation Google ). I was able to solve this problem in ten minutes when I installed it. There are still many problems.
First, to save time, I bought a CD. Most of the xp cd files in the store are ghost, so I chose a ghost.
1. Set the Boot Mode of the CD, place it on the CD, and choose to install it on the C drive.
Fault 1:CHS data error, disk 81h. error. Google tells me: Press delete to start BIOS settings. Under "advanced" Ide configuration ", set" SATA native mode "to" compatible ".
2. Restart and choose to install the XP system on drive C.
Fault 2:The A:/ghosterr. txt dialog box is displayed when a file name (546) error occurs.
Google did not tell me any perfect solution. It still did not solve the problem of entering winpe to format the C drive. Finally, I decided to give up one-click restoration of Windows 7. I formatted a 1 GB hidden partition and a 10 Gb backup partition, and merged the 1 GB partition and the C disk.
3. Restart and choose to install the XP system on drive C,
CHS data error and disk 81 h still appear on the black and white interface, but it does not affect the subsequent processes of installation. The installation continues until it is restarted.
4. Restart and choose to start from the hard disk,
Fault 3: Error: Unknown filesystem
Grub rescue>
5. solutions for this problem on Google: the cause of the problem is that the partition table is changed by formatting the hard disk and the merged hard disk, and the installed XP system changes the original grub, so that grub cannot work normally.
Solution 1: The general ghost CD comes with the dostoolbox.
A:/> fdisk/MBR
I have never tried it. I am afraid I cannot find the original ubuntu.
Solution 2: Get a Ubuntu livecd.
Sudo fdisk-l find the partition where/boot is located, such as/dev/sda6
Sudo-I get root permission
Mkdir/Media/temp
Mount/dev/sda6/Media/temp
Grub-install -- root-diretcory =/Media/temp/dev/SDA
Restart OK
I didn't bring a Ubuntu CD at the time, and I never tried it. I believe it is feasible.
Solution 3:(Recommended)
Grub rescue>
This indicates that the configuration file of grub2 is broken. grub2 cannot be started properly due to partition adjustment or partition UUID change, and thus enters the repair mode (grub rescue), also known as rescue mode. In rescue mode, only a few commands can be used: Set, ls, insmod, root, prefix (1) set to view environment variables. Here you can view the startup path and partition. (2) ls viewing device (3) insmod loading module (4) Root specifying partitions used to start the system, setting GRUB boot partition in rescue mode (5) prefix setting GRUB boot path
I. The partition is messy. I don't know where the boot directory is. ls # Check the device status.
Grub rescue> ls (hd0, msdos3) error: Bad filename. tip: the file name is incorrect. I found it must be followed by a/GRUB rescue> ls (hd0, msdos3 )/. /.. /lost + found/check that there is a boot directory under (hd0, msdos1)/. 2. Set the boot partition and path set root = (hd0, msdos1) of grub) # Set the grub boot partition, that is, the partition containing the boot directory set prefix = (hd0, msdos1)/boot/GRUB/# Set the grub boot path to view the settings: grub rescue> setprefix = (hd0, msdos1)/boot/grubroot = hd0, msdos1 3. Load Basic module insmod/boot/GRUB/normal. moD # Load Basic module 4. Enter normal mode normal # enter normal mode, and a menu appears, as shown in figure If grub is loaded. CFG (incorrect) may be faulty. You can press shift to display the menu, and press C to enter the console to enter the normal mode. Then grub> will appear, many Commands are supported here. V. Guiding System
(This fault is not necessary. Skip it. If grub. cfg is incorrect, it is estimated that it is required)Set root = (hd0, msdos1) # Set the normal boot partition Linux/boot/vmlinuz .... RO text root =/dev/sda1 # load the kernel and enter the Console mode initrd/boot/initrd .... # Load initrd. imgboot # boot
6. Go to the original Ubuntu and open the terminal: Install: sudo grub-install/dev/SDA update: sudo Update-grub 7. Restart. Select Windows XP to go to and continue to install XP.
Fault 3:Pro: Error 7-zip: Data error6. No good solution is found for this problem. It is recommended that you do not use ghost to install the disk online, I changed a non-ghost XP disc (computer company Windows XP SP3 quick notebook 2011), and the problem did not occur after the new installation. Finally, install the relevant drivers. Download the drivers of the corresponding models from the Lenovo official website. Install the driver on the motherboard first. 7. Install the 360 security guard and patch it.
