Uninstall Windows 7 on Ubuntu and Windows. The installation process is as follows:

The r400 a73 bought last year has been using the original win7 family edition. At the beginning, it was very fast. As time went by, it was slow and many software products were not compatible. The most important thing was that they were difficult to meet professional requirements. For example, some development tools could not be well installed, most computer books are based on XP. So I decided to uninstall win7 (the home version of win7 can be directly upgraded to the flagship version, the specific operation Google ). I was able to solve this problem in ten minutes when I installed it. There are still many problems.

 

 

First, to save time, I bought a CD. Most of the xp cd files in the store are ghost, so I chose a ghost.

 

1. Set the Boot Mode of the CD, place it on the CD, and choose to install it on the C drive.

Google did not tell me any perfect solution. It still did not solve the problem of entering winpe to format the C drive. Finally, I decided to give up one-click restoration of Windows 7. I formatted a 1 GB hidden partition and a 10 Gb backup partition, and merged the 1 GB partition and the C disk.

3. Restart and choose to install the XP system on drive C,

CHS data error and disk 81 h still appear on the black and white interface, but it does not affect the subsequent processes of installation. The installation continues until it is restarted.

4. Restart and choose to start from the hard disk,

5. solutions for this problem on Google: the cause of the problem is that the partition table is changed by formatting the hard disk and the merged hard disk, and the installed XP system changes the original grub, so that grub cannot work normally.

Solution 1: The general ghost CD comes with the dostoolbox.

Solution 2: Get a Ubuntu livecd.
Sudo fdisk-l find the partition where/boot is located, such as/dev/sda6

Restart OK

I didn't bring a Ubuntu CD at the time, and I never tried it. I believe it is feasible.

Solution 3:(Recommended)

Grub rescue>

This indicates that the configuration file of grub2 is broken. grub2 cannot be started properly due to partition adjustment or partition UUID change, and thus enters the repair mode (grub rescue), also known as rescue mode. Finally, install the relevant drivers. Download the drivers of the corresponding models from the Lenovo official website. Install the driver on the motherboard first. 7.
