Red Hat Enterprise Server 5.8 + Oracle10g (Chinese interface) Installation

Red Hat Enterprise 5.8 is installed under VMware workstation10 (Virtual Machine)

Create a virtual machine

Create a VM and select the configuration type as-typical (recommended ).

Click Next. The following page is displayed. Select -- install the operating system later.

Click Next, select linux as the operating system, and select Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 as the version.

Click Next, select the directory to be installed on the virtual machine, and select a disk with a large disk space.

Click Next and adjust the disk size as recommended.

Click Next. The following page is displayed. You can customize the hardware, for example, adjust the memory size, and click Finish.

The above steps can be used to create a virtual machine.

Install Red Hat Enterprise 5.8

Set the cd/dvd path for the Virtual Machine and select the path where your Red Hat Enterprise 5.8.iso is stored.
