2. Modify the Host Name

[Root @ localhost Server] # vi/etc/sysconfig/network

NETWORKING = yes

NETWORKING_IPV6 = no

HOSTNAME = grid01/grid02

 

3. Configure the host file

[Root @ grid01 ~] # Cat/etc/hosts

# Do not remove the following line, or variousprograms

# That require network functionality will fail.

127.0.0.1 localhost. localdomain localhost

 

# Public

172.169.15 grid01.prudentwoo.com grid01

172.169.16 grid02.prudentwoo.com grid02
