RedHat Linux 9 Remote Desktop installation and configuration

The software used to access RedHat Linux desktops from Windows is the VNC that comes with RedHat Linux. VNC is the abbreviation of vitual network computing. It supports many operating platforms and can even be operated in browsers.

1. First, check whether the VNC Server is installed on the Linux end (generally red Linux 9 comes with it, but it is not the default option ):

2. Set the VNC service and start the VNC service.

Enter the region client number to be displayed in VNC on the terminal and run "vncserver: 1" to display the desktop in VNC client Zone 1. So far, the VNC server has been configured.
2> to check whether the VNC service is started, open the "Start"-"system settings"-"Server Settings" window in RedHat to check whether the vncserver is started, if you see "xvnc (pid2157) is running in the" status "box... ", it indicates that the VNC service has been started and you can access the Remote Desktop. Generally, after you complete the preceding configuration, the vncserver is automatically started. If not, click Start in the "service" window.
So far, all VNC services in RedHat have been configured.

3. Install the NT Version of VNC
