Remote Desktop Open method for Kali Linux (telnet to Kali Linux from Windows XP)

In order to resolve the disadvantages of Windows Remote Desktop access for VNC Remote Desktop mentioned in one of Ubuntu 12.04 (see http://www.linuxidc.com/Linux/2012-07/64801.htm), we use the second method XRDP, This method supports multi-user logins and remote desktops.

1, first refer to Windows Remote Desktop access Ubuntu 12.04 installation VNC mentioned in the installation of the Gnome desktop method (click here);

2, enter the Gnome interface, in the upper left corner of the system-"preferences-" desktop sharing for the following settings.

We share the protocol used is RDP, so we're going to install this thing. Open Terminal: Install in sequence

Sudoapt-get Install XRDP

Sudoapt-get Install Vnc4server Tightvncserver

After installing play XRDP, open the "Desktop Sharing" option in the/usr/share/applications directory to further set

Desktop Sharing option first to turn on sharing, on whether to allow other users to control, remote connection when the need for native confirmation, remote connection of the password and other items according to their own settings. If you need to access this Ubuntu computer from the public network or external network, you need to turn on the "Automatically configure UPnP router open and forward Port project". One

After installation, execute the following command (This command is due to install the GNOME desktop, ubuntu12.04 in the same unity, Gnome multiple desktop manager, need to start the time to specify one, or even if the remote login verification succeeds, but also the background, nothing else)

Cd/home/youruser (Youruser is everyone's own user name)

SUDO/ETC/INIT.D/XRDP restart

3. MSTSC running Windows

Note is Sesman-xvnc, be sure to choose the right!!

After the above steps are successfully implemented on Kali Linux, the "Up" and "Down" keys become super+up and Super+down shortcut keys, which makes the window larger and smaller, that is, at this point:

up = Super+up

Down = Super+down

Note: The super key is the Windows banner key.

So, you need to super+up and super+down these two shortcut keys in Gnome's system setup to rename everything OK!!!
