Remove the smart tag in Word2007

If you no longer need to display smart tags in a Word document, users can delete them, as described in the following procedure:

Step 1th, open the Word2007 document window, and click the Office Button → Word Options button, as shown in Figure 1.

Step 2nd, in the Open Word Options dialog box, switch to the Proofing tab. Click the AutoCorrect Options button in the AutoCorrect Options area, as shown in Figure 2.

Step 3rd, open the AutoCorrect dialog box and switch to the smart Tags tab. Click the Remove Smart tag button, as shown in Figure 3.

Step 4th, click Yes in the Open prompt box to confirm the deletion of the smart tag, and then click OK, as shown in Figure 4.
