We all know that brand computers have a "one-click restoration" function, which allows you to easily restore the system. However, compatible hosts need to use ghost to back up the system. It is inconvenient to start ghost to dos. Is there any solution: Put the backup file in another partition? The disadvantage is that the backup file may be corrupted due to viruses.
If pqmagic is used to separate the hard disk into a backup partition to store the backup files, the backup partition is too small to store the backup files, which wastes hard disk space.
Here we will introduce a software named "one-click recovery Genie", which is designed to address the above issues. The software is developed based on Ghost 8.0 and never breaks through bad hard disk data. When you back up or restore the system, you only need to press the F11 key when you start the system. The software installation is very simple. Let's take a look at how the "one-click Restore wizard" is used.
Install the "one-click Restore wizard"
First, install the "one-click Restore wizard" in windows without any prompt during installation. Note that before installation, save and close otherProgramSuch as files being edited and anti-virus software. Next, the software restarts the computer, and then the "one-click Restore wizard" is automatically started under DOS ". There are three options on the main interface: "Install", "toolbox", and "exit" (figure 1 ).
There are many practical tools in the toolbox (figure 2 ). Select the "change key" option. The shortcut key is F9 when the one-click Restore wizard is started, instead of the default F11 key. Note that you must select this option before installation or upgrade to take effect.
The "Backup Recovery Partition Table" button is shown in Figure 3 below. You can back up or restore the hard disk partition table.
Note:If there are no other special cases, do not restore the partition table at will. Otherwise, the one-click Restore Wizard will become invalid. In addition, the program automatically backs up the partition table during installation. Therefore, you do not need to manually back up the table.
There is also a practical "installation solution 2" option in the toolbox, which is not successfully installed only on the "dynamic partition version" and "fixed partition version" on the main interface, this solution will be installed. We need to first check the C partition error in Windows when uninstalling it. Generally, do not use this solution for installation. However, if the system is Windows 2003 or the hard disk is partitioned using the sfdisk tool, you must use this solution for installation.
Back up data
Click the "Install" button to install the "one-click Restore wizard". Before the "one-click Restore wizard" is officially installed, a warning will be prompted that you should not cut off the power or restart the computer during the installation process, otherwise, the partition table is damaged (figure 4 ).
Then, the "one-click Restore wizard" starts to back up the C disk. It takes some time (Figure 5 and figure 6 ). Before backing up data on disk C, check whether the remaining disk space is smaller than the backup file size. If it is too small, the backup will fail.
Easy Data Protection
In the future, we can press the F11 key when starting the system to go to the "one-click Restore wizard" main interface. Click the "restore system" button or press F5 to restore the C drive system, and click the "Backup System" button or press F8 to back up the C drive system, click "exit" or Press ESC to exit "one-click Restore wizard" (figure 7 ). The "one-click Restore wizard" also has a secure password system with the administrator password and user password, which will be detailed later.
If the administrator password is set, when you enter the "Advanced Settings" and use the "backup partition table", "Run pqmagic", "Run ghost", "transfer to dos", and "Uninstall Genie" options in the toolbox of the installation program enter the password, to ensure the security of the one-click Restore wizard system.
If a user password is set, you only need to enter the password when backing up or restoring the system. However, you must set the administrator password before setting the user password. The administrator password has system control and can replace and change the user password. Remember that the password cannot be restored if you forget it.
Uninstall the "one-click Restore wizard"
If you do not want to use the "one-click Restore wizard" option, you can also uninstall the wizard by pressing the F11 key to enter the one-click Restore wizard interface and clicking the "Uninstall wizard" button in the "Advanced Settings" menu bar; 2.
