1. attach a CD to set the options of the optical drive in vmware and load the rhel6 CD image. 2. enter "# cd/media/" in the installation rpm package to access the content of the disc. Enter the cd folder and the Packages folder. From RHEL6, the rpm package is placed in Packages.

2. Install the rpm package

Enter "# cd/media/" to access the cd content in this folder.

Enter the CD folder and access the Packages folder. From RHEL6, the rpm package is placed in Packages.
