In 12th day of this month, I was looking forward to the long-lasting RHCE training course class. I started to pursue my dream in a small house of less than 30 square meters sponsored by Beijing puhuazongcheng Guangzhou Branch. Seven people in our class, two students at school, two CCBs, one system integration company, one Malaysian student, and the last one is me. This situation is somewhat different from what I imagined, let's talk about disappointment. There may be many accidents.

The course of the first two days is the foundation. I have been using linux for a long time, so I am familiar with it and it is quite easy. However, many commands have been used before, but I am not very familiar with them, I don't know if this will affect the exam, but I decided to review it carefully and be confident. This week I have been working on linux. First I installed it, then I reinstalled it, and then I installed it again. I found that every time I installed the system, I felt different.

Here are some of my feelings:

To reinstall the system, you must format the "/" partition under rhel5. Otherwise, the system will prompt you "Packages have been installed! "You cannot continue the installation. This requires that the partitions used to store data be separately mounted during partitioning.

If you want to use a desktop application, you 'd better customize the installation software package and select the required software package, which not only saves a lot of space, but also speeds up the installation. At the same time, the space of each file system should be allocated, because during the RHCE test, the total space of 8 GB hard disk space is carefully calculated. If redundant software packages are installed, this will cause insufficient space.

QQ does not support linux. Therefore, you need to think twice about linux desktop applications.

There is a big difference between the two desktop environments that come with linux. GNOME is concise, has fewer functions, and is easy to use, but it does not have a high running efficiency. KDE is more fancy, powerful, and efficient, but occupies a lot of system resources. I personally prefer to use the KDE Desktop Environment.

Many shell commands in linux are not only powerful, but also very practical. In some cases, they are also very important. Therefore, as a linux Professional, they are still relatively skilled, such as awk, sed, grep, sort, unqi, etc.

The last one is a headache for many IT people. I don't need to talk about IT as much as IT is important.
