Apple released an update to the Mac version of Safari browser in Tuesday and enhanced notification push for OS X 10.9 Mavericks users. In Safari 7.0.3, the notification push ushered in greater control, because in previous versions it needed to be managed for each site.
In the latest release, users can simply cancel the Allow web site to request permission to send push notifications check box to easily disable all incoming attempts. In addition, this update fixes a bug that "might prevent a push notification from being received."
Other areas include support for the emerging top-level domain names such as. cab and. Clothing (previously going directly to the search), fixing problems that might start searching prematurely when entering a search entry in the Address bar, the compatibility of automatic filling of credit card information, and several security issues.
For Safari 7.0.3 and Safari 6.1.3 users who run legacy OS X systems, they can download the updates free of charge via the Mac APP store or software update.
