Saltstack is an open-source software. Salt has two main functions: configuration management and remote execution. The saltstack configuration file format is simple and easy to write. At the same time, saltstack runs very fast remotely. The following describes the implementation of the basic functions of salt:
1. Install epel: Yum install epel-release first.
Epel, extra packages for Enterprise Linux, is created and maintained by the fedora community. It contains a large amount of software and is a good supplement to the official standard source.
2. Install salt-Master
Yum install salt-Master
The configuration file on the master side is in/etc/salt/Master
/Etc/init. d/salt-master start
3. Install salt-minion
Yum install salt-minion
The configuration file of Minion is in/etc/salt/minion
IP address of the configured master: MASTER: master_ip
ID of the configured minion end: ID: minion_ip
/Etc/init. d/salt-Minion start
4. Master-side Command Parameters
Add all authentication rules for salt-key-y-
Add a single salt-key-y-A 192.168.0.100 Authentication
Remove authentication for a single salt-key-y-D 192.168.0.100
Salt-key-l view the keys list

5. Configure salt groups
Mkdir/etc/salt/master. d/
Vim/etc/salt/master. d/group. conf
Nodegroups:
Centos: '[email protected], 192.168.0.101
Test command:
Salt '1970. 168.0.101 'test. Ping
Salt-N 'cento' cmd. Run "ls-L/tmp"
