SAP uses wage levels to manage different wage systems. There are four different levels in the SAP system:

Pay Scale type: the wage system, such as the position salary and annual salary.

Pay Scale area: the area of the wage system, which is generally divided by region. For example, the job salary system is the same, and the Northeast and South China salary points are different.

Pay Scale Group: a group that is subdivided within a range, such as the job level in the position salary system.

Pay Scale level: the pay scale level of a group.

The wage level range is associated with the personnel scope. Only one wage level range can be used in a certain personnel scope. When assigning personnel organizations, the personnel sub-scope is specified. In the basic wage information type, the system sets a value for the wage level range corresponding to the personnel sub-scope.
