SAP publishes official statement on Computer World related reports

Previously, the "Computer World" published a cover story, the development of SAP in the country questioned, that the latter caused a great trouble to customers. On 11th, SAP made a public statement in response to the query, saying it was deeply disappointed with the article. At the same time, SAP will also say that it continues to respond more.

As the industry leader recognized by the global IT industry for more than more than 30 years, SAP is well aware of the wide variety of opinions held by the industry and observers. The diversity of these views helps the industry to maintain its dynamism. We also know that to be able to withstand a certain degree of scrutiny and criticism is an industry leader must have the quality.

However, we are deeply disappointed by the two recent articles published in the Computer world. In particular, the first article of August 3, 2009 did not describe the real development of SAP China, nor did it reflect the business status of SAP and the results of SAP Chinese customers; The authors of the two reports never had any contact with SAP. SAP also has no chance to respond to some of the anonymous assumptions cited in the article. We hope that these two articles will not cause our customers or partners in China to be troubled.

SAP China has been meeting with the editorial team of the computer world and has expressed our disappointment at the failure to get a chance to respond before the article is published. We have a long-standing relationship with the computer world and we look forward to continuing our cooperation with them in the future.
