Save document formatting as a new style in the Word 2013 Styles pane

In the Word2013 document, users can save the formatting of text or paragraphs in a Word document as a new style in the Styles task pane, as described in the following steps:

Step 1th, open the Word2013 document window and select the text or paragraph that has been formatted beforehand. Click the Style button in the Start Ribbon, as shown in Figure 2013081032.

Step 2nd, click the New Style button in the Open Style task pane, as shown in Figure 2013081033.

Step 3rd, open the Create new style based on Formatting dialog box, enter the name of the style in the name edit box, select the new document based on this template checkbox, and click OK, as shown in Figure 2013081034.
